Rotary District 6460 Foundation

Our District Foundation was created primarily for Rotary Clubs in District 6460 without their own foundations to afford allowable tax benefits to Rotarians and donors as they contribute towards charitable projects.  The Foundation has collected and distributed funds for such activities as Rotary Day at the Ballpark, Global Grants, international and community projects, as well as disaster assistance. The purchase of a planter as part of our Vocational Training Team agricultural project in Zambia, as well as providing thirty three computers to three middle schools in Merida, Yucatán are good examples.

We encourage you to consider using the Rotary District  6460 Foundation to enhance your ability to fund your charitable projects. If you would like to explore the use of the Foundation, please contact PDG Steve Hopper, retiredhopper@gmail.com or a member of the Board of Directors. The Board will quickly determine if your proposed project will be accepted.

The Foundation has a board of directors that are elected at the annual meeting of the members of the Foundation, which is held concurrently with the Rotary District 6460 Assembly. Each Rotary club located in Rotary District 6460 shall be a voting member of the Foundation. There are five members of the board of directors.
